Continuing improvement in existing products and new developments are essential if manufactures are to maintain their position in an increasing competitive marketplace. Quality and reliability of products must be guaranteed by correct design and material selection, and by effective process control. Proper selection of the materials for a particular component requires complete knowledge of the expected service conditions, e.g., stress levels, temperature, environment, etc. and a clear understanding of the structure-property-processing relationships of the materials under consideration. Ideally manufacturers would prefer to use "robust" materials whose properties and hence service performance is relatively insensitive to variations during processing. In order to understand such structure-property relationships and their dependence on processing conditions during manufacture, it is necessary to employ a wide range of sophisticated materials characterization equipment. Such techniques depend upon considerable knowledge and experience of the technical and research staff involved. With the full capacity of laboratories and experts in the field, MTEC offers a wide range of services such as materials characterization and testing, product analysis, technical problem solving, technical information as well as consultation and contracted research. Customer Request InformationPlease fill out the Customer Request Information Form. If you have any questions or problem of filling the form, please contact our Technical Services at the address below This initial information form is not a technical service request form.
