MTEC researcher won Outstanding Presentation Award at WMRIF Young Materials Scientist Workshop

Dr.Chaiwut Gamonpilas, a researcher from Polymer Physics Lab, Polymer Research Unit, has won the Outstanding Presentation Award at the 2nd International Workshop for Young Materials Scientists for his research titled “ On the Use of Indentation Technique as an Effective Method for Characterizing Food Materials”. The event was held at BAM Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing, Berlin, Germany during August 31- September 3, 2010.

The award includes an all expense paid trip for up to two weeks of up to three WMRIF member institutes.

The goal of the World Materials Research Institute Forum workshop (WMRIF) is to promote and encourage young materials scientists in the field of materials science and engineering. The workshop is initiated by the WMRIF in order to provide a platform for young postdoctoral scientists within the member institutes for presenting, exchanging and disseminating the newest developments and ideas.
