MTEC researchers received the Outstanding Thesis Award at Thailand Inventors’ Day 2016 under the theme “Life & Learn” which is organized by the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT). 2016 Invention Awards as Inventor’s Day was celebrated on February 2 at Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC), Bangna. The Awards are as follows:
The Outstanding Research Award in Agriculture and Biology, on the “Texture/rheology modifiers from pomelo peel and their applications in foods,” This research is conducted by Dr.Chaiwut Gamonpilas, from Polymer Research Unit, Dr. Pawadee Methacanon, Senior Researcher and Jaruwan Krongsin, Research Assistant from Environment Research Unit.
The Outstanding Thesis Award in Engineering and Industrial Researchfor the project of“Enhancing Stability of Powder-Route Nanocrystalline Tungsten-Titanium via Alloy Themodynamics” led by Dr.Tongjai Chookajorn, researcher from Materials Reliability Research Unit (MRRU).
