นักวิจัย และทีมวิจัยเอ็มเทคได้รับรางวัลจากการนำเสนอในการประชุมวิชาการทางโลหะวิทยาแห่งประเทศไทย ครั้งที่ 3 หรือ TMETC-3 โดยการประกาศผลในพิธีปิดการประชุมฯ เมื่อวันที่ 27 ตุลาคม 2552 ณ โรงแรมเซ็นจูรี่ ปาร์ค กรุงเทพ
