The National Metal and Materials Technology Center\u00a0<\/span><\/span>(MTEC) is a research institute with its missions conforming to the\u00a0<\/span>6th National Science and Technology Development Agency\u2019s\u00a0<\/span>Strategic Plan (2017-2021) that links to the National Strategy\u00a0<\/span>and National Plans, especially, the BCG (Bio-Circular-Green\u00a0<\/span>Economy Model). MTEC utilizes its strength in materials\u00a0<\/span>science and engineering design as a basis for conducting\u00a0<\/span>research and development and fostering innovation.\u00a0<\/span>The research goals and its key features are precisely identified,\u00a0<\/span>incorporating stakeholder inputs, so that they will not only\u00a0<\/span>respond to the needs of users but also lead to enhanced\u00a0<\/span>competitiveness, sustainable production, and good quality\u00a0<\/span>of life.<\/span><\/p>

Research, Development, and Innovation<\/span><\/h3>

MTEC focuses on conducting research and\u00a0<\/span><\/span>development and fostering innovation with academic\u00a0<\/span>excellence and practicality, thus creating sustainable\u00a0<\/span>positive impacts on society and economy.
