August 28-29, 2019 at Impact Muang Thong Thani

The National Metal and Materials Technology Center (MTEC), National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation together with the Thai Ceramic Society and the Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University had organized an academic conference on ceramic technology in ASEAN Ceramic 2019. The Ceramic Industry Trade Show comprised more than 200 ceramic entrepreneurs from 36 countries. This event was held during August 28-30, 2019 at Impact Muang Thong Thani.

ICTA 2019 was organized under the concept of “Ceramic Industrial Technology, Advanced Ceramics, Ceramic Art and Design. Glass and Coatings Technology.” There were many world-class experts lecturing at this event such as Prof. Dr. Alpagut Kara from Eskisehir Technical University, Turkey lectured on the topic of “Use of Boron Compounds in Energy Efficient Tile Production through Wet and Dry Preparation” and Prof. Tadachika Nakayama from Nagaoka University of Technology, Japan lectured on the topic of “A Self-Healing Environment Barrier Coating (EBC) System with Nanocomposite Concept.” Moreover, there were also academic posters on ceramics science and technology from participants around the world presented in this event.
