MTEC had organized a research exhibition in INTERMACH & MTA Asia 2020
The National Metal and Materials Technology Center (MTEC), Dr. Sompong Srimanosaowapak, Research of Particulate Materials Processing Technology Research Team, Materials Processing and Manufacturing Automation Research Group, had organized a research exhibition to present Aluminum Foam: Sound Absorber in INTERMACH & MTA Asia 2020. The event was the first industrial machinery show of the year that gathered intelligent solutions to meet the needs of the machines production era, as well as present the latest machines, software, and related equipment to link the entire production chain together, such as artificial intelligence, automation, and robotics, which help increase productivity, ability, and creativity to the industrial.

On September 21-22, 2020 at the National Research Council of Thailand
The National Metal and Materials Technology Center (MTEC), Miss Piyada Suwandittakul, Research Assistant of Green Latex and Rubber Materials Research Team, Innovative Rubber Manufacturing Research Group, had organized a rubber research exhibition in the inventions contest of the fiscal year 2021. The event was organized as an opportunity for the inventors to demonstrate and disseminate their inventions to the public, as well as create the cooperation in developing the invention results to various sectors. In the event, the research team had presented outstanding rubber research results, namely, ParaFIT, the structural reform of the natural rubber foam production system, and low-ammonia latex for latex pillows and mattresses production.

On September 25th, 2020 at Swissotel Bangkok Ratchada, Thailand, the National Metal and Materials Technology Center (MTEC) organized a special seminar on “Entering the Aviation Supply Chain and Surviving the COVID-19 Era”. The purposes of the seminar are to promote the aviation industry in Thailand and enrich the perspectives of Thailand-based companies on how to shift towards high-value-added manufacturing, as well as how to become a part of the supply chain in the aviation industry

Prof. Dr. Anek Laothamatas, Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, Asst. Prof. Dr. Duangrit Benjathikul Chairungrueng, Secretary to the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, Mr. Pornchai Trakulwaranont, Former vice President of Thammasat University, Prof. Sirirerk Songsivilai, Secretary of National Research Council of Thailand, Mr. Pathom Sawanpanyalert, Deputy Permanent Secretary, Asst. Prof. Pasit Lorterapong, Science and Technology Advisor, and the executives, had visited the research exhibition. In the exhibition, Dr. Narong Sirilertworakul, President of NSTDA, Dr. Chai Wutiwiwatchai, Executive Director of NECTEC, Dr. Wonnop Visessaguan, Executive Director of BIOTEC, Dr. Julathep Kajornchaiyakul, Executive director of MTEC, and Dr. Wannee Chinsirikul, Executive Director of NANOTEC, together with the executives had presented the role and responsibilities of the organization and the research results.
