This event brought together project collaborators from Cranfield University (UK) and West Bohemia University (Czech Republic), along with traffic management experts from the International Road Federation (IRF). The seminar aimed to share research findings and encourage the practical application of the research project \u201cTruck-Mounted Attenuators for Road Service Vehicles.\u201d \u00a0This research project was led by Dr. Sompong Srimanosaowapak, who heads the Powder Processing Technology Research Team within the Materials Processing and Automated Manufacturing Research Group, MTEC. It is also a component of the overarching initiative titled \u00a0\u201cDevelopment and Utilization of Portable Crash Attenuators Filled with Waste Materials to Enhance Impact Protection for Road Service Vehicles,&#8221; funded by the Office of the National Higher Education Science Research and Innovation Policy Council (NXPO) via the Program Management Unit for Competitiveness (PMUC), and supported by the Royal Academy of Engineering (RAE) in the United Kingdom. They visited Thailand to collaborate with the project leader, representatives from the Department of Highways, and Thai traffic contractors, discussing research outcomes, exchanging insights on roadwork traffic management, touring the laboratories of the National Tire and Automotive Testing Center, and visiting companies involved in crash
