\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 On May 6, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. in Meeting Room 503 on the 5th Floor of the Department of Industrial Works (DIW) Building, the National Metal and Materials Technology Center (MTEC) of the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), represented by its Deputy Executive Director Dr. Sitthisuntorn Supothina and his research team, participated in the Technical Working Group (TWG) Meeting on the Promotion of Industrial Waste Utilization and Green Industry Development (Session 6-2\/2025). The meeting was organized under the project titled \u201cApplying Synergistic Approaches Between Industry and Community and the Use of Environmentally Friendly Chemicals for Industrial Development in Thailand Aimed at Reducing Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Eliminating Persistent Organic Pollutants,\u201d funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF). \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0During this meeting, MTEC presented an update on its \u201cStudy and Development of End-of-Waste (EoW) Criteria\u201d project for rice husk ash, along with showcasing the material\u2019s manufacturing process. The research specifically focused on producing a bio-sodium silicate solution from rice husk ash. This solution is designed to substitute for natural sand in three industrial applications: as binders for sand casting, additives in ceramics, and ingredients in laundry detergent. The session gathered feedback to clarify the End-of-Waste criteria, which could facilitate regulatory improvements and promote the commercial use of the study\u2019s outcomes. This initiative aims to foster sustainable resource utilization, enhance waste management capabilities in the industrial sector, and support the long-term growth of Thailand\u2019s green industry.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
