BECCUS integrates bioenergy production with carbon capture and storage to not only produce renewable energy but also capture CO\u2082 emissions, potentially achieving net-negative carbon emissions. This dual approach holds significant promise for reducing greenhouse gases and supporting sustainable development, especially in regions like Thailand where bioenergy resources are abundant.<\/p>\n<p>The conference sessions will begin with an exploration of Thailand&#8217;s perspective on integrating bioenergy with carbon capture, examining the potential benefits and challenges within the country&#8217;s unique environmental and economic contexts. Following this, a techno-economic assessment of BECCUS will delve into the financial viability and scalability of these technologies in Thailand. Additionally, the life cycle assessment of high-throughput carbon capture and utilization (CCU) processes will be discussed, providing insights into their environmental impacts and efficiency. Another session will present research on utilizing porous carbon materials derived from waste to enhance CO\u2082 absorption.
