This session presents an overview of industrial decarbonization in ASEAN, linking Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) technologies with policy mechanisms to enable their practical implementation at an industrial scale.

The content covers:

• Material development for carbon capture and utilization.
• Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) to verify carbon reduction outcomes across the entire value chain.
• Decarbonization approaches for hard-to-abate sectors, including basic industries, mining, and maritime transport.
• Policy perspectives and regional cooperation from Singapore and international organizations, highlighting essential conditions for scaling up CCUS and low-carbon technologies across the region.
• Opportunities for Thai entrepreneurs to elevate their operations toward sustainable low-carbon goals.
