Rail transit systems are continuously exposed to harsh operating and environmental conditions that can lead to corrosion, material degradation, and structural failure, affecting their safety, reliability, and service life. This conference aims to bring together railway operators, industry, researchers, and academia from Thailand and China to share insights, the latest advances in corrosion science, materials engineering, protective technologies, structural health monitoring, and predictive maintenance. It also provides a valuable platform for networking and potential future collaboration between the two countries for safer, more reliable, and sustainable rail transit systems.
