Plenary Forum: The Future of Thai Industry
(อนาคตอุตสาหกรรมไทย: จากการเปลี่ยนผ่านสู่โอกาสการเติบโตรอบใหม่)
12 November 2026
Thai industry is at a critical turning point, driven by shifting global trade rules, emerging international competitors, geopolitical supply chain disruptions, and increasingly stringent environmental standards. Key sectors—including automotive, electronics, food, packaging, and materials—must rapidly adapt to maintain global competitiveness. Concurrently, advanced manufacturing, digital transformation, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) present vital opportunities to boost productivity, elevate quality, and create high-value products, while the transition to a low-carbon economy serves as both a mandate and a strategic opportunity for trade and investment.
This Plenary Forum bridges multi-dimensional perspectives, ranging from national policy directions and global economic shifts to unlocking “Thailand’s New Industrial Growth Engines.” Through the lens of technology, economics, geopolitics, future industries, investment policy, and green finance, the discussion will address how traditional industries can evolve, which emerging sectors offer new growth, and what critical ecosystems—spanning technology, capital, and workforce—Thailand must urgently foster to secure long-term industrial sustainability.
