Advanced Rubber Processing and Standards Research Team
The Advanced Rubber Processing and Rubber Standard Research Team (ARPST) is part of the Innovative Rubber Manufacturing Research Group (IRM) at the National Metal and Materials Technology Center (MTEC). Our missions are as follows:
- To research and develop rubber and latex compounds that enhance the quality of rubber products and improve the competitiveness of manufacturers.
- To research and develop sustainable rubber chemicals for the production of environmentally friendly and sustainable rubber products.
- To develop standards for rubber products at both the national and international levels, in order to elevate the quality of rubber products.

4. Develop standards for rubber products
We have been certified as one of the Standards Developing Organizations (SDOs), at the advanced level for Group 29: Rubber and Rubber Products, by the Thai Industrial Standards Institute (TISI). This certification allows us to specify and establish standards for rubber-related products and submit them to TISI for implementation. Some examples of our achievements are provided below.
