Matichon and Partners Host “Thailand Healthcare 2025” to Shape the Future of Thai Public Health

Matichon Public Company Limited officially announced the launch of its upcoming event, “Thailand Healthcare 2025: A Better Life – Enhancing Wellness for Every Generation,” at a press conference held on Thursday, June 5, 2025, in the Mitr-ting Room, 5th Floor, Samyan Mitrtown. The event represents a collaborative initiative uniting public and private sector organizations, along with health-focused networks, to advance the well-being and quality of life for all generations across Thailand.

Ms. Panbua Boonpan, Chairperson of Matichon Public Company Limited, shared the inspiration and objectives behind the event, emphasizing that Thailand Healthcare 2025, now in its 17th year, has evolved far beyond a conventional health fair. It has become the country’s premier health event, serving as a vital platform for sharing medical knowledge, offering comprehensive health screenings, and promoting holistic self-care practices. The overarching aim is to foster a society that is resilient in both body and mind.

This year’s theme, “A Better Life: Enhancing Wellness for Every Generation,” underscores Matichon’s dedication to fostering a health-conscious environment that embraces all age groups—from children and working professionals to the elderly. In contrast to the previous two years, which centered primarily on senior citizens, the 2025 edition broadens its focus to offer inclusive content that addresses the diverse needs of every generation. The event will showcase three models of “Health Cities,” including the “NHSO City,” which will offer a comprehensive range of free basic health check-ups.  Throughout the venue, attendees can engage in a variety of interactive activities, with a standout feature being the “Hearing the Heart” zone—Thailand’s first dedicated space for mental health. This unique area invites younger generations to explore emotional well-being through curated books, hands-on workshops, and therapeutic conversations.

Another key highlight of this year’s event is the participation of the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), represented by Dr. Sarawut Lertpalangsanti, Deputy Executive Director of the National Metal and Materials Technology Center (MTEC). As a research and development organization at the forefront of health-related innovation, MTEC plays a crucial role in developing practical technologies that address real-world needs. Dr. Sarawut emphasized MTEC–NSTDA’s ongoing commitment to addressing the challenges of an aging society-one of the center’s primary focus areas.  He also noted that for innovation to truly benefit the public, collaboration is essential, particularly with influential media organizations like Matichon and policy-setting bodies such as the Ministry of Public Health.

At the Thailand Healthcare 2025 event, MTEC will present a diverse array of innovations aimed at promoting health and well-being across all stages of life. Highlights include a fall-detection device that ensures user privacy, an AI-powered medication reminder that adapts to individual behavior, ergonomic back support equipment, indoor air management systems, and the “ThaiSook” application, developed by NECTEC, which holds potential for future integration with national healthcare systems. Visitors to the MTEC booth will also have the opportunity to interact with these innovations and offer feedback to help refine technologies that genuinely address societal needs.

Dr. Sarawut further emphasized that Thailand Healthcare 2025 serves as a crucial platform for showcasing the full potential of Thai innovations, traditional herbs, and local expertise. He concluded with a strong affirmation: “Thai innovations are second to none on the global stage.”

Thailand Healthcare 2025: A Better Life – Enhancing Wellness for Every Generation will be held from June 26 to 29, 2025, between 11:00 AM and 8:00 PM, at Samyan Mitrtown Hall, 5th Floor. The event is free and open to the public throughout all four days. In addition to complimentary health check-ups, visitors can participate in panel discussions, educational activities, and a wide range of innovative showcases, empowering individuals to explore and adopt solutions that genuinely enhance their daily lives.
