MTEC, NSTDA Researchers Win Best Paper Award at the 40th Conference of the Mechanical Engineering Network of Thailand

The Powder Materials Processing Technology Research Team, under the Materials Processing and Automation Research Group of the National Metal and Materials Technology Center (MTEC), National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), comprising Mr. Pongsak Wila, Mrs. Thanyaporn Yotkaew, and Mr. Monnapas Morakotjinda, presented their research at the 40th Conference of the Mechanical Engineering Network of Thailand (ME-NETT 2026), held from July 14–17, 2026, at the Mida Grande Hotel Dhavaravati Nakhon Pathom, Nakhon Pathom Province.

On this occasion, the research paper entitled “Development of a Graphite-Based Solid Lubricant with Biodegradable Resin,” presented by Mr. Pongsak Wila, received the Best Paper Award in the Applied Solid Mechanics category. The research focuses on developing a graphite-based solid lubricant using biodegradable resin as a key component to improve lubricant performance in manufacturing processes while reducing environmental impacts.
