MTEC–NSTDA Showcases Automotive Innovations at Future Mobility Thailand 2025

             From April 3 to 5, 2025, the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) presented its cutting-edge automotive technologies at the Future Mobility Thailand 2025 exhibition, held at BITEC Bangna. The event, themed “Driving Tomorrow: Innovating for a Sustainable and Connected Future,” highlighted NSTDA’s contributions to the future of transportation.

              The event, organized by the Thai Auto-Parts Manufacturers Association, served as a global business platform to position Thailand as a prospective hub for automotive parts manufacturing. The opening ceremony was presided over by Mr. Akanat Promphan, Minister of Industry, who also delivered a keynote speech entitled “Fight, Save, Build: Advancing Thailand’s Automotive and Parts Industry into the Future.” His address focused on strategies to enhance the competitiveness of Thailand’s auto parts sector amidst the shift towards clean energy vehicles and intelligent connectivity technologies.

1.  Microbus Prototype – Developed through a collaboration among MTEC, ENTEC, and NECTEC, this clean energy public transport prototype addresses the needs of urban and community areas.
2.  Vehicle Safety Testing Technology – Offered by MTEC’s Automotive and Driving Technology Research Team, this technology enhances vehicle design with advanced safety testing capabilities.
3.  Electric Motor Testing System – Designed by NECTEC to assess the performance and durability of motors for electric vehicles.
4.  NQI Standards – A collaborative initiative by PTEC and NFED, designed to establish quality and testing benchmarks within the automotive sector.
5.  ‘KHamKoon’ Electric Tricycle – An innovative and eco-friendly community transport solution. Supported by the Program Management Unit for Competitiveness (PMUC), this initiative aims to enhance local mobility options.
6.  Railway Track Fastener – A sophisticated rail fastening device developed with advanced material technology to improve railway safety and reduce maintenance costs.
7.  Rubber Product Standards – Developed in collaboration with various institutes to support the industrial sector and minimize trade barriers.

Visitors were welcome to attend the exhibition free of charge throughout the event, held from April 3 to 5, 2025, at BITEC Bangna.
