The National Metal and Materials Technology Center (MTEC), Chulalongkorn University, Suranaree University of Technology, and the Materials Research Society of Thailand together with leading domestic authorities related to ferroelectric and electroceramic materials technology had organized the International Academic Conference: the Materials Thailand (AMF-12 & AMEC-12, 2021). This conference was supported by the TCEB and organized fully online from July 7–9, 2021. The opening ceremony was presided over by Dr. Kalaya Sophonpanich, Deputy Minister of Education.
The event was the joint conference between the 12th Asian Meeting on Ferroelectricity (AMF-12) and the 12th Asian Meeting on Electroceramics (AMEC-12). The conference was generally hosted by a rotation of the host country, and this year, Thailand is honored to be the host. The Materials Research Society of Thailand had classified the content of the conference into 12 categories and the conference was attended by researchers and experts from 18 countries around the world, such as the United States, Germany, Belgium, Russia, India, Malaysia, Japan, and Thailand.
This event is aimed to be a forum for knowledge exchange and dissemination, including production, material processing and characterization, as well as the development of new applications and devices from leading experts of ferroelectrics, electroceramics and other related areas who work in academic institution, research organization and industrial sector.
In this event, there was also an award ceremony for the supporting agencies, in which Dr. Duangduen Atong, Principle Researcher of Ceramics and Construction Materials Research Group of MTEC, was a representative to receive the award from Dr. Kalaya Sophonpanich, Deputy Minister of Education.
